• Served meals to homeless persons at La Soupière de l'Amitié and Donator to Enfants Soleil (for sick children)

What qualifications and experiences prepare you for this role?

• I truly believe in Optimism and am passionate about Optimist. I am well organized, a good communicator as well as an excellent listener and I am a team builder. My experience in management and finance would be an asset. I am bilingual and I believe that we all need to work together to take our organization to the next level

What are your top priorities?

• Communication between OI and clubs/members and vice versa in English and French
• Growth
• Be the VOICE for all Optimist Members

How will you support and strengthen local Clubs, Districts and the Optimist International Organization?

• I am retired and available at all times via e-mail or cell for all Optimists Members just like I have always been since I joined in 1990. I will share with them my experience and knowledge to help them become stronger and help OI take the place it should at the top of all organizations.

Why should members vote for you?

• I am an Optimist who asked to become an Optimist Member because I believe in our mission and all the good it brings us and others. I have never refused to give my time, knowledge and experience to anyone. I am bilingual and I can be the voice for all Optimist members in the world.

Final Statement to Members:

• Optimist International just like many organizations needs to grow but also needs to adapt to the new way clubs and districts are fonctionning to inspire, motivate and protect children and at the same time help our Members grow personally. I have just finished making sure the St Lawrence clubs are back with OI and I believe that I can share my experience with Board Members to be the change that we need. I would be honored to serve as a Board Member and to be your voice at the table. Please vote Danielle for your voice on the Board!

• I have no sense of directions - so sometimes it takes a while to find the table we are at in the restaurant but don't worry I always do!
