What are your primary qualifications for this office?

My availability, my sense of organization, my comprehension, my listening, my dedication, my implication, my enthusiasm. I am a team builder, love team work, and have strong Optimist experiences both at Club and District levels.

Why should a Club vote for you?

After 30 years as an Optimist Member and 5 years after completing my term as Governor, I have never stopped being implicated in the Optimist organization. I have always been there and offered my services not only to the Clubs that I am a Member of, but also to my District and because of the fantastic work done by each every one, we have great achievements and have reached our goals always in the utmost respect for our differences. Optimist is an integral part of my life and I forever believe in it.

What specific things will you do to help the Clubs and Districts in your Region?

I want to work with all the Governors in order to improve the communication with the Members, know and understand their needs and ensure that they have the tools necessary to grow our organization. Find new ways of doing things, so that we can attract new and younger Members. Work with all the Districts to find ways to keep our Members and finally, work as a team and to have fun doing so.

Anything else you would like to say to Clubs.

My goal as a Vice President is to promote friendship between the Clubs, the Districts, and of course, all the Members. I also want to follow my predecessor’s footsteps to ensure that our wonderful organization maintains the place that belongs to us, as the greatest organization taking care of children. I truly hope to get your support and please do not hesitate to contact me to let me know of your concerns, your aspirations, and your suggestions to bring out the best in all the children for the future of the Optimist International organization.
