Optimist International is proud to announce the availability of a new teen internet safety component. The script was developed through a partnership with Junior Optimist Octagon International. The program is for teens by teens.

The goal is to acknowledge that teens use the internet on a daily basis and to encourage diligence, awareness and safe practices. Topics discussed include posting inappropriate pictures or damaging information on social networking websites, internet predators, identity theft and cyber-bullying.

If your Club has already received its complimentary internet safety packet, please contact communications@optimist.org to receive the teen component materials.

If your Club has not received an internet safety packet with the adult and Faux Paw components, please complete the request form. The teen materials will be included in all new packets sent out from the headquarters office. One complimentary packet is available to each Club by request.
