Practice Round Information for the Optimist International Junior Golf Championships

Golfers are required to contact PGA National to arrange a tee time for their official practice round and additional optional practice round(s).  Please see below for details. 

Boys 10-11, 12-13, 14-15 & Girls 10-12, 13-14

Players are entitled to one practice round at no additional cost on Friday, July 22. To arrange a practice round tee time, contact PGA National at (561) 627-1804, option #3, or e-mail teetimes@pgaresort.com. Carts, which may be rented in the pro shop, are allowed during practice rounds only. Parents and other guests may serve as caddies during practice rounds only. Additional practice rounds are available for $66 per person (includes mandatory cart). This rate is valid two days prior to the start of the tournament.

Boys 16-18 & Girls 15-18

Players are entitled to one practice round at no additional cost on Wednesday, July 27. To arrange a practice round tee time, contact PGA National at (561) 627-1804, option #3, or e-mail teetimes@pgaresort.com. Carts, which may be rented in the pro shop, are allowed during practice rounds only. Parents and other guests may serve as caddies during practice rounds only. Additional practice rounds are available for $66 per person (includes mandatory cart). This rate is valid two days prior to the start of the tournament.

PLEASE NOTE--the golf courses at PGA National are used on the following days for the tournament rounds of the Optimist championships: July 23, 24, 25 and July 28, 29, 30, 31. Therefore, practice rounds cannot be scheduled on these dates.
