The dates of the official Optimist
qualifying tournaments have been finalized. In 2010, there will be 53
Optimist District qualifying tournaments in 34 states and five Canadian

The
2010 Hugh Cranford All-Scholastic Team is a special award recognizing
the academic accomplishments of junior golfers who are past participants
of Optimist International championship tournaments or District qualifiers.

announces a new event that will be held in conjunction with the 2010 Optimist
International Junior Golf Championships. The Optimist Golf World Cup presented
by Seminole Hard Rock Entertainment
by will be a one day, 18-hole, team competition featuring two-player

NEW!-Nine Year
Olds Allowed to Play Up in 2010
New in 2010, golfers who are
nine years old (as of July 26, 2010) will be permitted to play up into
the boys and girls 10-11 divisions. This change applies to the international
championships and all Optimist District qualifiers. |
