There are several nations that will send "International Designees" to
the 2012 Optimist International Junior Golf Championships. Golfers who live in
these nations must contact the international federation, association or organization
listed for information on how to qualify and will not be permitted to submit an
International At Large application. For a list of these nations, click
here.
Junior golfers who live in nations that do not send international designees may
submit an application for consideration directly to Optimist International. In
order to be eligible for the International At Large Application, the golfer must
be a permanent resident of the nation they are representing. Permanent resident
is defined as a golfer who lives AND attends school in the nation they are representing.
International applicants will be considered in the following order:
Priority 1: Applications submitted by and certified by an International Golf
Federation Member Organization (visit www.InternationalGolfFederation.org
for details).
Priority 2: Applications submitted by a legitimate national or regional junior
golf organization that is not a part of the International Golf Federation.
Priority 3: Applications submitted by individuals. These applications will only
be considered if space allows.
International At Large Applications
for the 2012 Optimist International Junior Golf Championships will be accepted
beginning February 10, 2012. The deadline to submit an application is April
20, 2012. International At Large applications will only be accepted online.

If you live in a country that sends International Designees in your age division,
you are NOT eligible to submit an International At Large application.
