Vice President/Director of Sales – EV Fleet, Inc. (Electric Truck Manufacturer)
What are your primary qualifications for this office?
I have held multiple leadership roles in corporate environments from my own company, 2 Fortune 500’s and currently a privately held start-up that manufactures the world’s only all electric, pickup truck. I have proudly served my club in multiple board positions from President down while we became one of the largest clubs in OI. The NC West District has given me the opportunity to serve in multiple positions from Sergeant at Arms, New Club Building Chair, Membership Chair, Governor, Club Fitness and Leadership and Development.
Why should a Club vote for you?
I am completely committed to the tenets of OI, “Bringing out the Best in Youth, Community and Ourselves!” and try to follow the creed every day. There is nothing more rewarding than the giving of one’s self to bring positives to others, especially kids. I understand the challenges that clubs encounter and I desire to continue to make OI, the Clubs and Districts in my Region as strong as possible. It would be my honor to serve the Great Mid-Atlantic Region!
What specific things will you do to help the Clubs and Districts in your Region?
Communication is the key to success and meeting our goals for our Members, our Clubs, our Districts, our Zone and Optimist International will be my top priority! I promise to always be available to coach and counsel whenever and wherever I am needed.
Anything else you would like to say to Clubs.
As Optimists, our love is for the kids! We must determine new ways, as well as embracing the old ways to make sure that we are doing everything we can to continue to serve and positively affect OI, our communities, our kids and ourselves. We all must focus on our organization being relevant for generations to come and reverse our declining numbers by bringing in new members and retaining those we have. Thanks to everyone for your dedication, commitment and love for the youth you serve!
