What are your primary qualifications for this office?

I was one of the youngest Members to ever serve as Governor in this organization’s history, and finished in the top five Districts during the 2009-10 Optimist year. During the 2009-10 year that I served as Governor, our team finished with the highest percentage of new Clubs built during that year. 10 months after I served as Governor, the delegates at the 2011 Optimist International Convention in Baltimore elected me as the youngest Member to ever serve on the organization’s Board of Directors.

Why should a Club vote for you?

Clubs in the Southeast Region should vote for me because I can bring the wealth of my experience to each District. I also really enjoy coaching young people and motivating them to do things that they never thought was possible and I feel that I can bring the same enthusiasm and passion to each District and Club throughout the Region.

What specific things will you do to help the Clubs and Districts in your Region?

As Vice President I look forward to motivating the Clubs and Districts to reach their goals. I look forward to helping each District develop and implement a strategic growth plan. I will help each District make goals that are attainable and I look forward to playing an instrumental role in seeing that those goals are reached. I will also try and speak with every Club President throughout the year and help anyway possible with the Clubs reaching the goals that they set.

Anything else you would like to say to Clubs.

As a team and working as a unit we can achieve great things.
